Tutta qui la Gamescom di Microsoft? Evidentemente sì, almeno per ora. Non pretendevamo molto, a dire il vero, da un evento messo in piedi in due giorni e a due mesi dall’E3, ma tant’è. Direttamente dalla nostra mailbox redazionale, i comunicati stampa rilasciati oggi, alle ore 12:30 (come da programma), da Microsoft in occasione della fiera di Colonia.

Le press releases, che potete trovare una dopo l’altra proprio in questa pagina, sono in lingua inglese. Come si dice? Noi… ce ne laviamo le mani. Il fatto che Microsoft Italia non li abbia neppure tradotti la dice lunga sull’importanza degli annunci in oggetto. Fatta eccezione per lo sbarco di Xbox Live su Windows Phone, s’intende, con tanto di Avatar, Achievements, Marketplace e classifiche.

Il resto dei comunicati sottolinea la presenza in Germania di Kinect tramite i giochi già mostrati allo scorso E3 di Los Angeles, e l’annuncio della data europea della periferica stessa, di cui vi abbiamo già parlato poche ore fa (10 Novembre, per chi se la fosse persa).

The show will unveil new games and experiences demonstrating the depth and breadth of the launch lineup of more than 15 exclusive Kinect titles, including never-before-seen levels, new environments, achievements and characters for "Kinect Sports," "Kinect Adventures," "Kinectimals" and "Kinect Joyride." MTV Games and Harmonix will also announce new chart-topping dance tracks for the highly anticipated "Dance Central".

Controller Free Fun

In the newly announced Football sporting event, simply move to take control of the player who has the ball: make the save as the keeper, pass to the defender, then midfielder, cross the ball in and then take control of the striker to hammer the ball into the top corner. With newly announced stunt and dash modes and co-op, race and co-pilot modes, "Joy Ride" makes a perfect family game.
  • "Kinect Adventures" (Good Science Studio, Microsoft Game Studios). Jump in to the social adventure of a lifetime, as we invite everyone to experience the "Kinect Adventures" challenge. The pack-in title for Kinect, this is the game that requires whole body interaction and contains something for everyone. At Gamescom we’ll invite families and friends on an all new experience, with the never before seen "Space Adventure" and the "Yeti Living Statue" challenge.
